LAURA LAMBULEY
Laura Lambuley, a Latin GRAMMY Award-Winning pianist, composer, and producer, seamlessly blends her Colombian heritage with a deep passion for the piano. Her musical journey gained international recognition with the release of “Llano en Blanco y Negro” (2008), recognized in prominent academic papers in Colombia for its innovation and representation of the New Colombian music. Her second album, “Mestizo,” recorded in the United States in collaboration with artists like The City of Prague Philharmonic Orchestra, brought accolades, including winning the prestigious ICETEX scholarship, a Latin GRAMMY, and securing the South Arts Awards-Jazz Road Creative Residency Grant in 2023.
Laura actively engages in academia through constant research, guest lectures at universities, and private instruction, while captivating audiences worldwide with her distinctive fusion of Colombian regional music and jazz. As a soloist and with her ensemble, Laura has graced stages in Colombia, Spain, Mexico, Jamaica, and the United States. Co-founding L Music, a hub for creativity and education in music, Laura continues to push boundaries. Amidst her illustrious career, Laura is in the exciting process of recording her third album, “Confluences,” a testament to her commitment to musical diversity, creativity, and hard work.
RODNER PADILLA
A three-time Latin GRAMMY winner and one-time GRAMMY nominee, the Venezuelan bassist, composer, arranger, and music producer is a prominent figure in the music industry. Notable achievements include winning Latin Grammys in 2014 for the album “De Repente” with C4 Trio + El Pollo Brito and in 2019 for “Tiempo al Tiempo” with Luis Enrique + C4 Trio. With extensive contributions as a recording session bassist and collaborations with renowned artists, he has received numerous accolades, including a Latin GRAMMY in 2011 for Ilan Chester’s “Treasures of the Venezuelan Music.” Beyond his bassist role, he is a multi-instrumentalist, workshop facilitator, and has toured internationally, leaving a significant mark on the global music scene.
ANDERSON QUINTERO
Anderson Quintero began his musical career at seven with Salserín, the world’s only children’s salsa orchestra, touring 20 countries and recording five albums. In 2004-2005, he toured with Grammy-winning artist Franco de Vita during Mil y Una Historias, earning two Grammy nominations. After moving to New York in 2006, he collaborated with stars like Ricky Martin, JLo, Don Omar, Willie Colón, Yandel, and Leslie Grace. He won a Grammy for Chino y Nacho’s Mi Niña Bonita (2011) and received nominations in 2017 and 2018 for work with Luisito Quintero and Raúl Agraz.
Quintero’s versatility has led him to diverse projects, including an Off-Broadway musical on Celia Cruz’s life, recording with Mexican superstar Yuri, and performing at TED Talks with Do You Speak Djembe? In 2016, he joined the rock band Philm for Seventh Sun. Featured on the cover of Drum Club Magazine, he is also a representative of Sabian Cymbals’ AAX line. Now based in Miami, he continues recording across genres and recently contributed percussion to JLo’s The Mother soundtrack.
